The Palm Springs USO Center opened in December 2006 at the Palm Springs International Airport. The center is open from 8 a.m. to midnight daily. It is located adjacent to the airport luggage-claim area.

The facility has welcomed over 30,000 military personnel and their dependents during its nearly 3-year operating history. More than 150 volunteers currently support the Palm Springs USO mission.

Most visitors are active-duty Marines serving at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center near Twenty-nine Palms, California. The MCAGCC is situated about 60 miles northeast of Palm Springs. The PSP USO facility provides a convenient sanctuary for service men and women traveling to and from the base to destinations nationally and around the world.

Our lounge features a large flat-screen television with a library of DVD films. The center offers bottled water, coffee, tea, soft drinks, a variety of snacks and light meals, and free Internet connection. Volunteers provide assistance, as needed, when service people or their dependents experience unexpected travel delays. Local merchants and airport vendors generously provide services to support our mission.

We do everything possible to assure our nation’s service men and women have a safe and comfortable place to relax while traveling. All services are provided at no cost to active-duty and retired military visitors and eligible dependents.
